We’ll be holding a Special General Meeting (SGM) on Tuesday 4th December to vote on the proposed amendments to our constitution.

After a long and involved debate, we have come up with a final version of the changes that have been proposed to the aims and objectives of our Constitution (as detailed on our website). Thank you to all of those that have helped with this process.

The SGM gives our members the chance to approve or reject these proposed changes. All members are entitled to vote. Voting shall be by a show of hands at the meeting and a majority vote is required for the constitution can be amended. In the event of a tie, further discussions will take place, and the vote will be re-held (as we need to come to a conclusion on these amendments on the night).

The meeting will be held at Buckfastleigh Town Hall at 7:30pm on Tuesday 4th December. When the SGM is completed, we’ll be holding a quick, open Committee meeting (to which all members are invited), during which snacks and refreshments will be available.

If you have any questions or queries about the constitutional changes, the SGM or the evening in general then please contact Steve Bamford (BTT Secretary) on 01364 642283 or at Click here to reveal email address.
