This is what lies behind the 2050 Web tool, and it contains more detail about the assumptions within each sector. All the assumptions in the model have been developed with input from a broad range of experts, and these have recently been enhanced with feedback from the Call for Evidence.
You can also read the new report, 2050 Pathways Analysis: the Response to the Call for Evidence. This sets out the ways in which DECC have updated the data underpinning the 2050 Calculator following the Call for Evidence. It also presents 17 new illustrative pathways which meet the 80% emissions reduction target. This new report, combined with the July 2010 report, set out all the assumptions that have been made about what may be possible in each sector over the next 40 years.
