    (1) Buck The Trend – Green Drinks – Wednesday 4th March – King’s Arms
    A reminder that we are getting together at the King’s Arms Pub in Fore St at 7.30pm on Wednesday 4th March for an informal social meet, where we can get to know each other and share any ideas. Come along if you are interested in making connections!

    (2) Syria Appeal – Transport to Harlow needed
    BTT Member Virginia Turbett sends her thanks for the massive response to the appeal for donations of clothing and other items for Syrian refugees. A huge vanload went off a couple of weeks back but more is coming in and to continue we need someone who can transport it to Harlow in Essex.     Peter Chappell will present a talk on Vital Remedies and the real cause of chronic diseases.

    Opening event for ‘Artist in residency process’ with Miriam Rose and live music by Peter Scott and Barry Cohen.

    (5) *Humaniversity AUM Meditation – Sunday 8th March, 10am til 3pm – Dartington Village Hall
    Lalitya and Sanjula invite you to join us for the Humaniversity AUM Meditation
    A two and a half hour cathartic, interactive meditation, with 14 stages to music. Followed by shared lunch – bring food to share.

    (6) *A Land Conference – 21st March – Civic Hall, Totnes
    ‘A Land Conference’ on the 21st March, 9.30 to 17.00 organised by a small group from the Henry George Society.
    The purpose of the conference is to give people in Devon who care about a proper relationship between people and the land (rural and urban) the opportunity to come together and share the different understanding and passion that each brings. The morning will be an opportunity to hear from speakers; the afternoon an opportunity to learn from each other and find others who want to make a real difference together.

    Buck The Trend’s Rosalyn Maynard is running more of her ‘Somatics’ Bodywork workshops for any who missed the last ones at the town hall or who would like to follow up with more.

    (9) *The Economics of Happiness Workshop with Helena Norburg Hodge – June 24th – 26th 2015 – Embercombe
    For those of you that have enjoyed her films that we have shown in the last couple of years, now’s your chance to work with her at this 3 day workshop.
    Helena is a pioneer of the localisation movement, and the articulator of the core ideas of counter-development. The course is for anyone interested in local economic systems design and implementation; plugging the gaps of our leaking local economy.
    Her Economics of Happiness programme stimulates new thinking, joint activity and public education in response to economic globalisation.
