Join Helen Parr, Community Engagement Officer for the project, at a meeting, on Tuesday 24th November at 7pm in Buckfastleigh Town Hall.
The Devon Greater Horseshoe Bat Project enables communities to learn about, celebrate and help to care for these enigmatic bats and the landscape they live in. Greater Horseshoe bats have declined by a whopping 98% in recent decades and about one third of those remaining in the UK are found in Devon, one of the few areas in Northern Europe where they are now found in any number.
