    1) Buckfastleigh ‘Eternal Youth’ Games club – New Season…
We are restarting the grown-ups weekly occupation of the youth club again on Monday nights at 7.30 (til 9.30). It’s a lot of fun! We have table tennis, snooker, pool, table football, air hockey, darts and there is space to play board or other games and take part in other shared activities… Tea, coffee and mint tea are available (plus tuck shop!). The heating will go on as it gets colder.
We need more members as we would like to keep this going and  contribute to the running costs of the club building, so come along and bring a friend or two. It costs £5 to join (free if on benefits) and then £2 a night or £3 if you don’t join.
Contact me (me@andystokes.com) or see you there,
    Andy

    2) Apple Juicing at the Orchard on the Millenium Green Sat 26th October*
On Saturday (26/10) from 12 ’til 4 there will be juicing of apples at the Millenium Green Orchard ……we will use the apples there, but do also bring whatever apples you can lay your hands on and bottles for juice, or just come for the fun (and some juice). * handy hint: if you freeze & thaw the apples first the juice squeezes out easily * Bring & share food, songs, music or any other entertainment.
This is a ‘Nature’s Round’ event. See you there! Toby

    3) Town Neighbourhood Planning Community Engagement*
The Town Council are hosting a drop-in event to engage local community groups and businesses with the development of the Town Plan. Buck the Trend are invited to attend so if you are interested in finding out how you can contribute as a BTT representative or for another organisation you are a part of, then go along (and let Andy know if you would like to represent BTT in further consultation exercises).
    Wednesday 20th November 2013 between 3.00pm and 7.00pm

    * CONTRIBUTIONS FROM OTHER GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS ARE NOT NECESSARILY ENDORSED BY BUCK THE TREND BUT MAY BE OF INTEREST TO MEMBERS OF THE GROUP
