Buckfastleigh Fun Day – Sunday 27th June

BTT will have a stall at the Buckfastleigh Fun Day this Sunday.

This year, we will be borrowing the Energy Cycle from Transition Newton Abbot. Built entirely out of recycled car components which are readily available to anyone,  the Energy Cycle should help you focus your mind (and your body) on the value and effort needed to generate the electricity we use on a daily basis.

We’ll be giving energetic people the chance to test their fitness by seeing how long they can pedal the Energy Cycle for. We’ll also be running a related educational game for those of you with more brains than brawn.

If you want to come along and have a pedal, play the game, help run the stall or just find out more about BTT, then the Fun Day is on the Orchard Millennium Green from 2pm until 5pm.
