Buckfastleigh In Transition Film and Discussion
Posted on March 16th, 2011 1 commentMany thanks to all of you that turned up last night to our screening of the ‘In Transition’ film and the resulting discussions. Special thanks should go to Hal Gillmore and Carole Whitty for providing us with lots of valuable advice and information.
As a result of these discussions, a number of Buck The Trend members were so enthused by Transition Town Totnes’ Gardenshare scheme that they are setting up a Gardenshare scheme in Buckfastleigh. For more details, please see our Gardenshare project page.

Recycling Survey
Posted on March 3rd, 2011 No commentsDevon County Council have confirmed that the Bulley Cleaves recycling centre will be closing on Sunday March 27th.
Buck The Trend are working with local councillors and others to try and find an alternative. As part of this, we need to identify what services people want/need.
